February 2008 Marks Primary Day for California

Now California will have a say pretty much as early as the other states that set the pace for presidential candidates. The Governor says it will help us have a say in very important national matters.

“Holding our presidential primary in June used to mean the nominees were locked before we ever had a chance to vote,” Schwarzenegger said about White House candidates sweeping in to fundraise millions only to leave before they listen to California’s concerns. “I’m happy to say, these days are over.”
